WIBC Radiothon: Start your engines!

By Radiothonster - Posted on 12 December 2007

Here we are everyone. The start of the WIBC Radiothon benefitting The Salvation Army. December 14. It's cold, it's early, and it's about time.

Current total: $15,520!

It's almost 7:00 am on Friday and so begins this live blog of the weekend's events. I'm the Radiothonster. I will be bringing you some behind-the-scenes information about the Radiothon, some pictures of prize winners, sponsors, and special guests, and some chances to win some cool prizes. All thanks to you for checking out this blog and hanging out on the site.

If you happen to be down on Monument Circle this weekend, be sure to stop in, say hello, meet some friendly people, and drop some money in the Red Kettle outside. Let us know you have been checking out this blog and we'll give you a neat little gift to say, "Thank you for being a friend." (Sorry, it's early, and this Radiothonster brings out the Golden Girls references before breakfast...)

Speaking of breakfast, Applebee's is bringing in some great munchies for the volunteers and staff in about two hours.

Have you checked out the Prize Package Page? Just click on the names of the prize packages to see what wonderful items our generous sponsors have donated to bless you with some Christmas cheer. It's our way of saying "Merry Christmas" to one fortunate and generous donor. (Honestly, we feel like the fortunate ones to even receive your generosity.)
